CrowdCall is currently in beta. This means features, data handling practices, and these policies may change as the product evolves. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email.
CrowdCall ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
1. Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Password (stored as a secure bcrypt hash — we never have access to your actual password)
- Simulation history and results you generate on the platform
- Usage data (number of simulations and chart reviews run)
- Basic access logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and rate limiting purposes
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the CrowdCall service and your personal simulation history
- To send transactional emails (welcome, trial expiry, beta access notifications)
- To enforce usage limits (trial: 3 analyses, paid: 100 per month)
- To improve our AI agents using aggregated, anonymized patterns — never individual user data
- To monitor and protect against abuse of the service
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect payment information directly — payments are handled by Stripe (coming soon)
- We do not sell your data to any third party
- We do not use your data for advertising purposes
- We do not track you across other websites
4. Third-Party Services
CrowdCall uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Anthropic (Claude API) — powers the AI agent simulations
- Polygon.io — provides real-time market data
- Resend — handles transactional email delivery
- Railway — hosts the application and database
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and simulation history for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized simulation data may be retained for model improvement purposes.
6. Your Rights
- You can request a copy of your data at any time by emailing us
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data
- You can opt out of non-transactional emails at any time
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing, JWT authentication with expiring tokens, HTTPS encryption, and rate limiting to protect against abuse. However, no system is 100% secure — use a unique password for your CrowdCall account.
